I spent 7 years hustling for extra income. Then I stopped.
For most of my professional life I worked in cybersecurity — a field I was good at, that paid well, and that I eventually exhausted myself trying to supplement. On the side I was always making things, coaching friends, writing resumes, planning business ideas with people I cared about. Always hustling. Always feeling like I needed to catch up.
I was the person everyone came to when they needed to figure something out. The friend who helped you think through your business idea. The colleague who wrote your cover letter. The woman who could see possibility in someone's situation before they could see it in themselves.
"I had been doing valuable work my entire life. I just never had a framework that showed me how to get paid for it — calmly, sustainably, and on my own terms."
The sabbatical changed everything. Away from the noise and the pressure, I had space to see something I had been missing: income does not have to come from stress and scrambling. The things I had always done naturally — teaching, guiding, creating, connecting — were not just hobbies or favours. They were income paths waiting to be named.
I came back from that sabbatical with a completely different relationship to work and money. And I came back with a mission: to help women over 45 see the same thing in themselves.
Because here is what I know after a lifetime of watching women like me: the things that come most naturally to you are the things you most undervalue. And they are the things the world will genuinely pay for.
Calm Creator Studio was built on that truth. Everything here — the quiz, the archetypes, the Blueprint sessions, the workshops, the guides — exists to help you see clearly what you have always had. And to help you finally get paid for it.
